CALVIÀ LIONS CLUB

Calvia Lions Club is a service organisation. We are an English speaking club, with a membership of 20 men and women, from all over the world. We perform volunteer work for many different kinds of community projects, including caring for the homeless, feeding the hungry, aiding seniors, the disabled and the environment. Among the many other causes we help, are the lonely, the needy, the youth. Everywhere we work, we make friends.

The Lions Club de Palma, belonging to the federation of Lions Clubs of Spain, is a non-profit organization that provides food to various NGOs that operate on the island. One of its main activities is “Food for everyone”, an initiative of which includes the businesswoman Dagmar Daum, the tax advisor Klaus Goergen and Wolfgang Krämer, the three German residents that make up the group of 22 people responsible for the entity.
